3/8/11 Okay, it's DEFINITELY Spring now!
The maple sap run is almost over... the trees are about to bud and the flow of sap is slowing right down because they want it for themselves. Fair enough! Shane's got more than enough syrup jarred now.
Junior is AWOL these last couple of days... we saw him snoozing on Roger's porch earlier today - along with the Lady cats and kittens from last year. He ran in briefly to grab a mouthful of breakfast this morning while I was half asleep, and disappeared out again with indecent haste - it seems he's discovered what his nuts are for. Hehehe.Sitting outside smoking a ciggie this evening, I heard the PEEPERS in the creek for the first time this year. WOOT!Yes... it's DEFINITELY Spring! Any more snow now? It's "Spring Snow".
